Okay - here's a quiz question.

Fill in the blanks to make a sentence. It's the same 7 letters in the same sequence in each gap.

The _ _ _ _ _ _ _ was _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ to dine because there was  _ _ / _ _ _ _ _

I thought Mince would have jumped in by now but here goes with my understanding of it all...
Punctuation at the end of a sentence goes inside the quotes.    (the whole sentence is being quoted)
The final question mark relates to that sentence which just happens to include a quote.

Now let's wait for Mince to appear to say I'm talking $%^&  8)
