White van.
« on: July 25, 2011, 06:24:47 PM »
Yesterday, I noticed a large white van parked across the street with the words "Mobile Dog-Washing Service" written on the side. This is a new one on me. Are there a wide range of these animal sevices available? Are there "Mobile Hamster-Fluffing" vans? "Mobile Horse-Gelding" vans?

I prefer the van I saw in Stirling last week with "Scrub-a-dug" on the side...true!

if he was parked he was not mobile
if he was mobile would he bring the dog back
or does the dog run behind while he is being washed

Welcome back, Peter! To answer your questions...
1...Vans, despite their mobility, still have to stop. Don't be stupid.
2...Don't be stupid.
3...Don't be stupid.

I have a gift for debate.

Well, that ruins my joke.

Did you know that "gift" is "fig" backwards, assuming of course you omit the t?

I prefer not to omit the t, as I enjoy a good cuppa.

p.s. What was the joke?

Just so long as you don't vomit the "t"...

Well, now that you have brought it up... :)

I wonder if the makers of Vimto realised that it is an anagram of vomit?

If you just take out the f, it spells "git".
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Funnily enough, I saw a mobile dog washing trailer in sunny Surrey last week, looked a bit like those glider trailers,
long and damp it was.

Like Roger I was quite surprised, whatever next?

Corona delivered to the door!
