Really Stupid

This topic is for all those really stupid things you have done, like walking into the same lamp post more than once.

As a kid, I managed to "stick" two coins to my closed eyes, and thought it so cool that I decided to see what I looked like in the mirror.

Actually, I'm just amazed you managed to grow up.

I couldn't get the hole in the wall at Tesco to work until an onlooker pointed out that I could enter my PIN with a finger on the real keyboard rather than poke with a pen at the picture of a keyboard on the screen.

You can use an MP3 player with a built in microphone to record things as MP3 tracks - anything that can audibly "outpour".

My friend's son gave me a four-mile lift to my home, but I asked him to drop me off just short of home at Tescos because I was hungry. After he left, I realised that I had forgotten my keys, and had to get a taxi back to my friend's house to get them.

Thought you measure time in hours not miles.

I got it, Peter - but for those who don't, Mincey originally wrote "four-mile life" in his last post, before sneaking back to correct it, being a teacher an' all. Unfortunately, he still forgot the apostrophe in "Tesco's", but I dare say he'll have fixed that also by the time most of you read this.

Oh, but you can, Peter. If you look to the top right of each of your own posts, you should see the option to 'Modify'. Click on that and you will be able to edit your own posts.
