Albufeira is nice. Every place we went to last time and enjoyed has closed down. We have a room with a balcony that overlooks an Irish pub with loud music. The tomatoes and oranges taste healthier, and so far we have managed to avoid meat, fish, milk, eggs and dairy. My wife told me the new sun cream lotion, which I now refer to as Zombie White, once massaged in, is completely invisible. Then she pointed out that I had not done the back of my neck.

The Irish pub is playing loud music again. I have considered throwing the peelings from our vegetable dinner into their seating area from our balcony.

I read in my book today that ten-year-olds reading the book who eat meat, eggs and dairy should consider cutting a plant diet not to prevent heart disease, but to start to repair some of the damage already done to their arteries.

The book is over 550 pages long. I tore off the hundred or so pages of references before I came here. It's actually great fun to read. I thought I might just be able to dismiss much of it as quackery or new-age tree-hugging hippy crap. But there's only a hundred years of studies numbering in the hundreds of thousands that all provide overwhelming evidence that meat, eggs, fish, milk and dairy cause harm and offer nothing else.
