Jeez, there's some rubbish talked about greatest goals. The Brazilian goal in that clip is the far superior goal, no question.
If you want to see the greatest goal scored in an international, just type "Nelinho v italy" into You Tube"
Greatest Scottish player ever? Jimmy Johnstone. Most underrated Scottish player? Gary MacAllister. Most overrated Scottish player? Charlie Nicholas.
Most underrated Man U player ever? Denis Irwin.
Most overrated Man U player ever? Brian Robson
Greatest player of all time?
Is it Pele? No.
Is it Maradona? No
Is it George Best? No.
It's that wonderful Dutchman, Johann Cruyff. If you have any doubts, check out his stuff on You Tube. No-one with the exception of maybe Jinky or Paul Gascoigne ever came close.
Woo. Strong stuff, Malc. Cruyff was a wonderful player, and he'd be in my top three, but to say that Pele didn't even come close is nonsense. (My own top five would be Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Maradona and Best, with Charlton and Eusebio close behind).
While I understand your choice of Johnstone as best Scottish player, I would have to go for Baxter. The man was a one-footed drunk but what a player. The most underrated Scottish player---and Tarks will love this---was John Connolly. Had he played for either of The Old Firm, instead of St. Johnstone, he would have had 50 caps.
(Sorry, Mince and ladies, we can talk computers again).
