Sellotaping bananas to a stuffed corncrake.
« on: August 01, 2007, 10:40:33 PM »
My mind was drifting to things I've never done in life. Obviously I don't intend to do anything highly illegal. The example in my title for this thread is just one thing I have honestly never done. I'm sure there will be many others. I'll give it some thought and see if I can come up with more examples. Anyone else have examples of things they've never done in life?

Sorry, I meant capercaillie, not corncrake.

Sorry, I don't know what a capercaillie is, or a corncrake for that matter... ???

However, here's some things I haven't done (but will  8) ):

Visit the grand canyon
Swim with dolphins
Ride an elephant
See the northern lights
Ride in a hovercraft
Stroke a tiger cub

Aha! I've seen the Northern Lights (or aurora borealis, as some folk call it), from this island.

Capercaillies

and Corncrakes

are birds!

Some things I haven't done.

Jump from an aeroplane
Bungy jump
Play for Celtic
Handcuff myself to the railings at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I may come up with more later.

Stuffing bananas in to a Sellotaped corncrake.

You put a gas mask on, surely?

When I used to do the floor singer spot at the Eglinton Arms Hotel, the top of the bill was once a band called Capercaillie. I think they're still going.

In my own way, so am I.

I used to go to a weekly jazz night in Eaglesham when I lived in East Kilbride. Maybe that was at the Eglinton Arms Eaglesham? I think it was called "Upstairs At The Eg".
