Roger, that was a masterclass in tact. Bravo!
I apologise, in advance.

If they do, I'm sure they won't mind. Our connection with the guys goes back over 20 years when Andrew and I came up with the strip.

My god! You had fingers in Shuggie and Duggie too! Is there no strip where you haven't had at least an influence? I am in awe of you both.

I LOVED Angus Og! It was so beautifully drawn with a wonderfully gentle sense of humour. I met the great Ewen Bain once and we had a lot in common----both highlanders and both born on the 23rd of June.

Come up with your own speech bubbles for the following strip:

The winner will receive an original piece of Beau Peep artwork (drawn by me).
1/ "This ancient book of spells belonged to a famous Arabian Sorcerer. You can have it for $20.00."
            2/ "How do I know it's genuine?"
3/ "I could cast a spell and turn you into a Sand Lizard if you like?"
4/ "$50.00 not to turn you into a Sand Lizard."

The winner is Peepmaster, simply for his "four-eyed muppet", which made me laugh out loud. There were other good entries as well.

Peepmaster, here is your original Mince artwork. It's self-referential, with the nomad holding up a sign. I hope you like it. It's on its way to you now.

Well it just goes to show you that this type of thing is much harder than it looks.

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

WHAAAAT!!?
Passed over again? What kind of imbecile is deciding these things? Mine was easily the best. I'm never going to enter one of these stupid competitions again as long as I live, you bloody useless incompetents.

I don't care, anyway. I've got better things to do with my life. Over it.

Arseholes.

I think this is the first competition I've won on here, and now I feel bad about it.

Just for the record, the patterned background hid the brown coloured page numbers so I was replying to page one. I now know to look harder for page numbers.

This board has been a steep learning curve for some.

Oh, and well done, Peepmaster! A worthy winner indeed.

Tarquin, AKA another four-eyed muppet.

Our first award, Tarquin!

I'd like to donate the prize artwork to Malcolm to save him smashing his house up and taking it out on his family.
